Honey Lime Summer Fruit Salad

Honey Lime Summer Fruit Salad recipe by Barefeet In The KitchenSummer fruit salads are beautifully versatile. They are always a hit at barbecues and picnics and with the fruits in season right now; you can choose your favorites to combine. For this meal, I simply worked with what was already in the house.

The simple honey lime dressing takes an everyday bowl of fruit up a notch and makes it something special. Just whisk together equal parts honey and lime juice and add a sprinkle of salt. The recipe can be doubled or tripled as much as you like!

Honey Lime Summer Fruit Salad
Yield: 4 servings
(printable recipe)

1 cup diced fresh pineapple, canned pineapple will work as well
1 cup quartered strawberries
1 cup halved green grapes
juice of 1 lime, about 1 tablespoon juice
1 tablespoon honey
pinch of kosher salt, 1/16 teaspoon

Chop the fruit into pieces roughly uniform in size. Combine all the fruit in a medium size bowl. Whisk together the lime juice, honey and salt and drizzle over the fruit. Toss to coat. Chill until ready to serve. Enjoy!

  1. YUM! Simple and perfect for the hot days that are ahead of us :)

  2. You know I love a good fruit salad - and I bet the lime dressing makes it really pop. Have a lovely week Mary!

  3. Mary, are you using a widget or a plugin for your "one year ago today" links? I have a plugin installed and it does not seem to be working. Wondered what you were using.

    1. Hi Lisa,
I was unable to find a reliable widget for the links. I just grab them myself and add them at the bottom of the posts.
      Hope that helps,

    2. So I'm not crazy to think none of the widgets work right! Great idea - thanks for the tip! :)

      Loving your summer recipes...

  4. I love this fruit salad recipe. It's simple, it's light and it's guilt-free. Awesome!
