White Balsamic Vinaigrette

White Balsamic Vinaigrette - get the recipe at

White Balsamic Vinaigrette is light, sweet, and tangy with just enough oil to coat a salad and not leave it soggy. This vinaigrette is part of my very favorite summer salad recipe. I highly recommend that you shake up a batch today and have it ready to go for all your salads. This dressing is so good on it's own, I've doubled the original recipe and given it its own post.

Try White Balsamic Vinaigrette with one of these salads:
Strawberry Spinach Salad

COOK'S NOTE: If you are avoiding white sugar, yes, you can make this with honey. However, it will have a completely different flavor. The honey version is tasty, but the one with sugar is my personal favorite.

  1. I love white balsamic so so so much that this dressing will definitely be heavily featured in my future salads!

  2. This would be an exceptional marinade for grilled chicken.

  3. This looks amazing. I'l have to try it!!

  4. I am gonna try this out soon!!!!

  5. I have been doing this for years. I substitute light agave
for the sugar. Add a little granulated garlic. Incredible taste.

  6. Why am I having trouble finding while balsamic vinegar?

    1. You can substitute champagne vinegar if it's easier to find in your area. I've purchased both of them locally at Trader Joe's and Sprouts. They are also available online, through Amazon. Hope that helps!

    2. Oops, almost forgot, you can absolutely make this with a regular balsamic vinegar, it simply won't be as pretty. Good luck!

  7. Oh that stuff is NUMMY.... Kind of sweet and sour!

  8. Sounds yummy! Always looking for good salad dressings. Going to give this a try. Now I need to go find some white balsamic vinigar. Thanks, Mary!

  9. I can't even remember when the last time I used a bottle dressing- making your vinagrette is the only way to go! So easy and delicious. Love yours.

  10. I made it tonight over a broccoli and mango salad. Delicious dressing!!!!

  11. Could you use this on a bean salad?
