Key Lime and Honey Winter Fruit Salad

Key Lime and Honey Winter Fruit Salad recipe by Barefeet In The Kitchen
Sweet oranges, pineapple chunks and kiwi slices are tossed with a simply honey lime poppyseed dressing. This whole salad took just minutes to prepare. My family eats a lot of fruit. Simple fruits, baked fruits, fruit salads, chocolate dipped or blended into smoothies, we love it all. This time of year, the selection is limited, but there is always a heaping basket of oranges on the counter. I wanted a fruit salad based on our favorite cutie oranges and this one was perfect.

My boys ate every bite of this salad and declared it perfect. My youngest wasn't about to eat out of a plastic bowl after he saw his brother's glasses. So, I poured his fruit into a juice glass and he was thrilled. Who could resist that face?

  7. The cute little limes, the poppy seeds, the clementines, the whole salad is adorable, but I'm sorry, none of that holds a candle to your son!! And one question---where is the helmet? :)

    1. We don't wear fireman helmets at the table, Sue. I have to draw the line somewhere, right? I love that he loves it so much, but it was fun to actually see his face for a picture this time!
