Homemade Ranch Dip with Fresh Herbs recipe by Barefeet In The KitchenThis is a creamy, tangy ranch dip loaded with as many fresh herbs as I could stir into it. Fresh lemon juice provides the tang of buttermilk and the flavor is far beyond anything you could buy at the store. Even with the time spent chopping all the fresh ingredients, this recipe still came together in less than 15 minutes.

There is nothing like an abundance of fresh herbs to inspire a bit more creativity in the kitchen. One of the growers at our Farmer’s Market had a huge table of herbs last weekend and I went a little crazy filling my basket with fresh herbs for next to nothing.

If you do not have an abundance of fresh herbs at your fingertips this time of year, check out this Quick and Easy Homemade Ranch Dip made with dried herbs and spices.

Mary, I will have to make this for my girls! They love ranch dressing, and I really hate to buy it bottled:) I make my own mayo, and I always have a bunch of fresh herbs, so it should be a no-brainer:)
    have a great Halloween!

Really good dip! I made this yesterday. I used dry chives and dill but fresh parsley. Wasn’t sure how to grate an onion without it producing a bunch of water so I drained the onion after grating. This is a new favorite!5 stars

I substituted plain Greek yogurt for the sour cream, lime instead of lemon juice. Dried dill vs fresh but it still came out as a favorite for my family.

Been making this very regularly. I amp up the amount of parsley and dill — don’t really measure any more — just chop and throw it in. So good. Hubby is disappointed if he opens the fridge and it’s all gone.5 stars
