Maple Butter recipe by Barefeet In The Kitchen
Maple butter is heaven on earth when it is slathered on warm bread fresh from the oven. I’ve loved honey butter for years (who doesn’t love honey and butter blended together?!) and I almost always have some in my refrigerator.

Lately, I’ve been taken with maple butter as well. The method is quite simple and the result is beyond delicious.

The first time I made this, the butter and an entire loaf of bread were gone in just a matter of hours. That was with only 3 adults in the house.

We have always loved maple butter, we have a maple sugaring buisness in the family so we do everything with maple! Honey butter is a new one for me that I'm obsessed with!!

Mmmm…I love sweetened butter. When we were at Disney one of the restaurants had honey butter and I couldn't stop eating it. So, I understand your idea about the metal lid – ha! The maple butter combo sounds wonderful – it would be like having pancakes:-)

I have some PUMPKIN English Muffins in my freezer, I think a bit of this sweet goodness would be PERFECT!!! 😉

This maybe a stupid question, but how long can this last in the fridge? Well…assuming it lasts long enough to even ASK this question…hehe! 😉

It should last for a few weeks at least. I've never actually had butter go bad in the fridge, so I don't know why this would be any different. I hope that helps!
